Crossing seemed shadows
To faded dusk
Sky bleeding to none
Starring distant tonight
Cut shallowed air
Echoes of cold

And the silent distance under the sky
Threaded longings jagged into old
In mirage, in past, behind the glass
Truth decays into lie

Time eroded thoughts
Through mind’s yearning
Chasing reflections
Into distance

Under the eidolon, emptiness wanes
Warm, ethereal, touch
Swallowed in tides, distant creeping light
Alone, in conscious, in presence
Fearful choking in the grip of purpose
Rinsed, cleaned, designed
Embraced by symmetry and order
In past exit to present

In the shadow of endings
Crossing thresholds
Through risk and mirrors
Disappear in distance

Long light in fields
Through shinning eyes
Ashes in passing
In the distance

And the aging future under the stars
Swelling to crumbling statues
In echoes, in dark, beyond the self
Leaving shadows behind
